Seccond SIM doesn't release calls! how to solve????? - GSM-Forum

I see many double simed phones especially DTS11 seccont SIM don't releaze calls. I repaired one with formating both CPU but it worked only 2 days and came back!
is there anybody knows how to solve this problem completelly, or infinity team do you know how to solve this problem? urgent help please!

Hello,

If phone was repaired by software and come back damaged after some times this means that phone hardware damaged.

mate pls do not say that so easy as it is hardware demage, may be you don't know but this is a regular problem for this phones called General Mobile. we see evryday 3 or 4 phones..

here is the problem when making calls on sim b you can not end, when receive cals on b you can not end and accpt..

I know this is a strange case but you should understand me well. Today I got one phone double simmed name is N228, after written seccond IMEI now phone do not release outgoing calls, and can not accept incoming calss.(The problem is: just with Seccond SIM, first SIM all ok, when you make a call you can not end, and when somebody call you you can not answer, but 10000% all keys work well, Seccon CPU is MT6205).this is actually a regular problem of GENERAL MOBILE DST11 phones..but I have found that both model have the same firmware like belowe:

Hardware version: MT6226, E02
Hardware version: MALATA26_05C_HW
Software version: MAUI.05C.W06.16"
Software date: 2005.04.12
Barcode: MT012345678901234567

I saw tons of phones with this problem and many of them was brand new phones. I mean this is 100000% software problem. but how many times I wrote to infinity team you did not care about it..

please I have problem with my client now and need to fix this problem because he thinks that I am reasoned..

btw.there is a kind of software always being talked about which fix this problem. I just know that, if that software can fix this problem so infinity why can't?
we always need your helps urgent..

Hello,

Let's think how to find a solution together.
Some information is:
Each dual sim phones has 2 CPU.
1st CPU (master, or main, ordinary 6225 or 6226) make most of work: manage 1st sim, phone menu and make general phone manage
2nd CPU (slave, ordinary 6205 or 6223) manage 2nd SIM, and 1st CPU send commands to 2nd CPU.
Each CPU has it's own flash chip with it's own firmware.

I think that it may be some problems if firmware in 1st CPU is not compatible with firmware in 2nd CPU. I mean: 1st CPU send commands to 2nd CPU, but 2nd CPU can\t understand that commands well.
What to do in this situation (I think that we must try to make this):
1. Be sure that 1st CPU works well, so we will be sure that at least 50 of phone is Ok
2. try to write different firmwares in 2nd CPU, make format after each flashing and see results.
I think that we must find good pairs for 1st and 2nd firmwares.

I can't make a lot of tests by myself, so if users start to make tests and posts here good combinations of CPU1 firmware + CPU2 firmware we can to understand somehing and have a good results.
If we will have some test reports we can try to prepare manual about firmware compatibility (1st CPU + 2nd CPU compatibility list).
So, if you can make some tests and start this project it will be good step.

Also it will be good if you can flash different similar firmwares in your phone and see results (how is phone works), so we can start to prepare SIM1/SIM2 firmware compatibility list

one more infinity software do never show seccond CPU firmware type? how we know differences between flashes

maybe it is better/faster to findout how this original factory software is fix the phone. Because this software is being sold too..

Probably any information from factory will be a good help

But I don't have any access to factory information.

Firmware versions for 2nd CPU: outr software can detect2nd CPU version when you read flash from it or make "read detailed information".
For some quite old firmware types there is som problems with version name detection, but for latest models detection works quite well.
Ordinary 2nd CPU is 6205 and 6223, so you can see firmware files in \flashfiles\ChineseMiracle\_MT6205 and \flashfiles\ChineseMiracle\_MT6223 folders.
Also see \flashfiles\Life folder for DST1 firmware for 1st and 2nd CPU.

There is 5 files under General Mobiles folder on support, but all files for the first CPU, no files for seccond CPU, if there was a collection for seccond CPU too I would test what are you mean..and repair erpom section also all for first CPU

also one more idea:

if second part of phone do not pick/release call- this also could be a fault in first part.
so always worth to format first phone part too, not only focusing on second phone part

I want to thank you very much for the idea. now I want to share with you what I have found!!!
when I got the phone I made a backup of firmware1, to see what what firmware makes problem I reuploaded the backup of firmware1, now firmware1 without IMEI written but firmware2 is IMEI written and SIM2 makes/release calls very good..but when I write IMEI to firmware1 again SIM stayed do not release call..

one more; after write IMEI on firmware1 SIM2 network signal sticks are at zore step, but anyway phone can call just can not end call..I have seen this on DST11 too at old.

this mean when change IMEI on firmware1 SIM2 can not makes or release cals 100000%.maybe this is valid only for this phone or not..need more tests.
now if you want I can send you both firmware original and IMEI written. you may findout a way to solve this problem.
otherwise guys want 1000 USD for the original software as it is unprotected!
