V170 new ver ?
 

hi

i have infinity box
i flashed V170 with V171 flash but the screen corrupted ( shifted 45 degree)

i flashed it again with V170 from support but it give me empty LCD

can any one upload ver V9.8.28 ( it was the ver on the phone )

Yes, it looks like it's V170 with new hardware
The only one method to repair: read flash from "new" working V170 and send to us. We will test file and upload in support area.

It's need to read original flash file from working good phone.

no one have a good working phone to read this ver from ???????

I have the same problem. With high firmware or v171 flash file it gives a distorted display. If uploaded with original flash file like tracfone and cingular it gives a white display on lcd....Phone was ok before software upgrade...

It looks like new hardware appeared for V170 so let's try to find good working phone with latest firmware and read it.

hope someone have it and read it and share it with all of us

the new version is 9 for the tracfone and the cingular, that's why the screen is corrupted

The newer version LCDs are not compatible with the older firmwares. So if you have a older version LCD you can swap it with your corrupted screen's V170 and you will NOT get the slanted 45 degress pixels problems.

Test it and post the result.

If you flash it with V173 firmware from support it will work
