Hello,
CM2MTK makes dump backup in .ispff format, which you can write in other same model. You can also backup firmware in original factory firmware (Scat) format if you want for supported cpu's.

Hello,
Why not use Reset Privacy Lock button instead? Easy to use.
To be frank personally I've still not checked whether privacy lock can be reset by writing backup from another phone. Can be tried with flash erase option, since with original SP flash tool also it requires to format+download for reset privacy code with original firmware.

Hello,
Yes, some cpu/flash not supported. We are adding regularly new features and cpu/flash id. If in case any already supported phone has some problem , we always try to help and ask users to upload dump and post link to be able to fix/add it in coming updates.
