Dongle problem - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I have a new dongle but can't use it so far. When I install drivers on XP and run TST_Detect.exe it says:

Your TST Dongle ID is: 7B0xxxxx
This is Dongle #3

Now if I run "_Total_Samsung_Tools_v2.99_BETA.exe" from the Dongle3 folder it says "You need to installe Dongle driver and plug in TST dongle for install". But it's plugged in and when I run the soft it's even blinking.

So no success with 2.99. When I run TST V3 Internal_5.exe it's working fine, just sysol is disabled. I guess that's how it should be in 3.0.

So how can I run 2.99??

after checking ur details regading this problem .i think you must replace dongle .we just spoke with ur resaler . just send him back dongle and he will send u tested dongle .

I have had my tst for some time now but now it show please install dongle drivers. It showing rocky in system but i tried uninstall/reinstall/reboot and every combination without any luck.

I thinkl some of you have problem whit usbsmart Motorola also i have problem after install usbsmart i can't run Tst but all is ok dirver reinstalled and faitian rockey4 is found by Pc well but when start program no key found.

1. I've tried also on PC that doesn't have usbsmart ever installed on it
2. In my case the problem only appears when I run 2.99 Setup! My reseller sent me the whole directory of installed tst and all programs worked. I'm also able to run the software that is not packed into setup like swift or 3.0...

So I'm more that sure that the problem is in SETUP and not dongle.
Anyway, I'm waiting for new usb dongle just to try... Thanks to my reseller.

Mr Shamas, You sent your PC to us.

1. Your program kept asking to install driver/dongle.
2. I checked and found your problem even though sn reader finds dongle and showing ok in start/control panel/system/hardware/device drivers.
3. I deleted your desktop shortcut.
4. Opened c/program files/tst and clicked on the tst_menu icon.
5. Your program works fine from this shorcut.

Everyone else with same problem should try doing same as above.

Post results here. This bug maybe be fixed next update.

I can't even install it.

I have same problem with dongle after instal usbsmart dongle driver...

i uninstal usbsmart and then reinstal driver for TST and now all work ok.

The best system is to delete driver of TST install usbsmart motorola and after in another usb port install tst again and all work now.
