Important : D500 blinking / auto-off problem.

Dear customer,
D500 Blinking and auto-off problem, we test it and now we have solution.
Problem cause because of old FW version flashed on new HW phone type. Please don't use any firmware before Jan-2005 (??DL so sooner).
Solution : Erease BIN + Format TFS , then reflash BIN+TFS new 2005 FW (??EA or later), now phone will working but IMEI will be 000000000000. It's time for rebuild IMEI. No need to care about BT ID. It's will be working 100% with IMEI.
Best Regards,
TST Team.

This problem because of BIN and TFS mismatch. It's because of flashing. Too old version firmware, and BIN version and TFS version doesn't the same (this is rarely happen, cause we tested many BIN with anther TFS. Sometimes it happen but not all)

It’s understood that BT ID should be unique, so third segment of imei can be used as BT ID, because it's unique.

Example:
If IMEI = 351235-00-999999-1
Then BT ID = 999999

I am having the same problem. I have two phones which are now blinking at the SGH-D500 screen. I have tried flashing them with D500XADKD_HW28, D500XADLD_HW28, D500BVEB1_ED1, D500XEED2 AND D500EXEEI1 but the phones still hang at the start screen.
Also sometimes the TFS format will fail or I get checksum errors when flashing, but if I try again the error disappears. The IMEI on one phone is now 000000-0... but when I try to repair it the process fails after a few seconds.

If anyone could help I'd be very grateful
Thank in advance
