ThunderStorm Box error with smartcard....


I've been using thunderstorm box since she's in the market. But i alwaysa need to connect/disconnect about 5-10time for the smart card to be detected...
I already changed the smartcard reader and resoldered almost every IC but same thing happens......
Any solution or modification....?

BTW: tested with 2 diferent boxes.... in 3 diferent pc's

Seems problem arises from default window sdriver for integrated USB HUB in box.
I will have to do some checks upon this, and possibly find improved driver.
In any case, latest service packs should help.

I have received my thunderstorm, but the PC does not detect the smart card.

I have made the same thinks that CyberKareca, but still without luck.

I have installed and reinstalled several times in a desktop and in a laptop.

is there another way to detect the smartcard ?

Try to connect the box without the rs232 (com) cable plugged in, in other word's connect only the usb cable. After that open the software if it open OK you can now connect the rs232 (com) cable.
This was the best way i found to make it work.

@legija
wich is the official page for the usb-hub chipset in the board ?

I don´t have the rs232 conected.

The card is not recognized. I have the thunderstorm box and the com7 installed, but it does not detect the card.
