Philips 160 not conecting - GSM-Forum

No matter what i use(cable or pins) it does not want to comunicate... and it happens the same with 162 or 530.... what is the problem... the box works with every other telephone i try...i'm realy frustrated

Cable for 160 is same as 162. What exact do not work, you cant enter TAT mode? You have to press power on button longer on philips 160.

it always says waiting for ignition...
so is the pinout the same as for 530? coz i'm using that pinout...

Hi mate, connector is same as 530 but pinout is not same, you have to rotate connector to 180 degrees. Check philips 162 pinout in support section.
