Member: 675164 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | G'day, Thank you for this thread, it is most helpful. I was wondering if someone could answer a simple-ish question for me. I have the following phone: 0556138 RM-265 CTR BLACK LATIN APAC-T OPV_OPTUS I would like to know which code I should use for standard Nokia 6500c firmware 'unbranded' for Australia? Member: 675164 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank you for your response 'chachman. I noticed those code only moments after requesting! (but your confirmation makes me happy to try flash my phone). Just one more question (for warranty reasons), can I flash back to an 'operator' ROM suchas Optus, Vodafone etc? WC |

Member: 675164 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | So.... I used NSS to change the product code to NON branded 0548863, and then NSU to update the software (from 3.xx to 4.80) BUT I still have the branding. Any ideas on why, or how I can remove the branding? Many thanks WC |

Member: 595947 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16 | Apols thought I responded to this. Unfortunately at present you need to wait for a 'major' update which would wholly clear the branding/etc on either of the 6500 handsets unless you have a box or Typhoon to do a full erase / reflash from scratch ... |
