Just wondering if anyone knew of a date soonish that the nokia 6680 will be able to be unlocked on?!?!Also i asked the guy in the shop if i got it unlocked he told me i would prob' loose my bluetooth or some other s/w

from the phone,can that happen?!?! cheers in advance.

This can't happen because there is no solution to unlock 6680 xD, unless you get the unlock code from the provider.

I heard they change some important boards, like Mother Board, and thus the phone has a new sets of chips and ROMS, therefore it becomes unlocked, as the new board was unlocked. This costs of course a lot of money I would imagine.

they charge customer 6k.php for that almost 55$

I think they don't actually unlock the customers phone. They only change the board with another board which is already unlock as bence-8810 says.
Maybe soembody can confirm this and try to check the imei of your phone if it is still the same before it was unlock.
