ATTENTION! if you make full pm backups!

ATTENTION! VERY IMPORTEND!

if you make full pm backups of bb5+ phones PLEASE DONT FOREGT TO DELETE PM 120 FILD (not only pm308) you need to delete the pm 120 fild too!

this is very very inportend, because if you let pm120 fild in the full pm backup and just delete the pm308 and other user write your backup in his
phone, he get contact service because hi destroy his SIMLOCK KEYS!

if the user have no backup of pm120 he need to calculate rpl because you forget to delete pm120 fild...

if you foregt to delete pm120 fild its near the same if you forget to delete pm308 fild...
its more dangerous to forget pm120 as you forget pm308...

because pm308 is in protected phones not writeable but pm120 IS!
and pm308 overritten can be repaired, but pm120 not witouth rpl...

Yes, It's very important for Locked damage phones,

but i think not necessary for unlocked phones by nokia like warrenty's phones.

let me explain ..

if you have working phone on contact retailr by wrong flash or wrong pm ...

So it will have nokia test equipment

24407000=Nokia Test;Finland

Quote:
Operator: 2440700000000000
Operator Name: AT&T;U.S.A. (3650)
Profile bits: 0000000000000000
Sim Status: Not locked
So if you not edit 120 field then no problem i think but it's very important for locked damage's phones ..bcoz it has different test equipment/Provider.. you need to edit that field

Best Regards,
..::Angel::..

Sorry for duble post..

if anyone read full pm from any working phone so it has aslo same simlock key

24407000=Nokia Test;Finland

and if he not edit 120field then no problem to write bcoz damage phone is already unlocked by same operator ..

But Protected Field 308 must need to edit/delete ...before write to another phone ..

Best regrads,

no...
there are two testopertor networkcodes... (24407 and 00101)
also it can be a locked phone from where the full pm is written...

and if i use this backup in my unlocked or locked by diffrent provider phone, then i get contact service...

i see this problem in many full pm backups (for bb5+ phones) here for download...
if i use such backup...

it happend to me, because i dont looked in to the pm backup...

yes,i agreed

there are 2 test operator but nokia have only one test operator with Warrenty "Nokia Test - Finland" 24407

00101 is GSM test Operator its come when we unlock with Free Zulea's Soft but other teams like UB,MT,Genie have aslo Nokia test finland 24407 they generate with Simlock.bin.. i think ..

mostly bb5 have Nokia test operator

@oOXTCOo

you are aslo right PM120 Need to Edit/delete before write on other phones when you have not conform which operator has used in damage phone .

Very important and use full info. for users

I´ve "played" with one 5310 for more than 3 hrs after writing pm from forum until it came to my mind to check if [120] has been deleted from pm
Offcourse,it wasn´t deleted.

I guess,most of phones circulating trough our hands are locked and thereby field 120 should be removed from pm backups.
