ok i work for vodafone uk. i have access to the NUC database. see attachment.

also i have been member of forum since dejan dct3 unlocking days just lost previous account details.

now this service is not going to be free. and also as from today i notice that the SX-5 unlocking is now no longer available on the NUC intranet site. !!

so all this unlocking i have been doing has obviously not gone un-noticed.

i have no reason to cheat. ! it gains you impopularity......

So Sorry guys i obviously hammered the system..... no more available now...

So then - how do they get done now? or is this only for internal procedures now.

okay i have spoken with someone from the NUC team today and it seems that not only i have been offering this out as they say that due to the amount of Nokia requests on the intranet based site they have removed ALL nokia imei's from the NUC database and are now doing it via a "Email" only method.

So, after speaking with a colleague i asked - "what happens now if i want to unlock a handset for a nokia ?"

to which he advised that i could still use the NUC but would have to send a email to the dept that are dealing with the nokia requests now.

he advised that the method he takes from a customer phoning in is : checks the IMEI in the NUC, then raises a charge then submits the email to the NUC dept.

now i asked him if the dept check the "charge" raised ... to which he replied NO this is all done and accepted before email submission so the NUC team have no reason to query that the customer has been charged.

I am not too sure as to why this is now the case but will investigate further today. I am going to submit a email to the team asking for a imei unlock for a customer i have. "fingers crossed it just gets actioned without any quarms" ..... (watch this space......)
