its ok
as you know jaf only able to backup pm in local mode.
and if you backup crt you can have certificate of NPC and some others.. there won't be any simlock backup in JAF CRT backup.

so pm backup will repair SIMLOCK STATUS.(that's in first post also)
backup rpl will repair IMEI.(that's in first post also)

and security test is fail then we can repair with sx4(authorizing phone) & modified pm(which hold only field1 and field309)(that's in first post also)

if you know or not new security base bb5 call SL2 have 2 simlock information in eeprom(PM)
field 120 hold provider,country & counter information.
field 308 hold simlock crypted information

but if your simlock show perfect and imei is perfect so only problem is authorizing phone which can be done via sx4 and write modified pm.(that's in first post also)

i am shortly from giving up...
SX4 Auth is always showing ERROR,..blabla
and if its accepted, my jaf is hung at pm[309] last record [22]
i uninstall jaf and intall it back again, but still same problem... really dont know why now

PS:unfortunately i dont have UB,..

if its hang on pm field 309 last selection make no difference.

you just post here what is your phone status now.i mean contact service or anything else problem when u start phone with battery?

today i just back home and make a self test and it passed, until these 2 are fail

its ok for normal phones.
you can check if phone work perfect more then 10min and charging calling work perfect means your phone is perfect.
config key is normal for factory unlocked phone as i know.

you should know that
if your sp area is damaged or watchdog is on phone won't accept authorization (sx4)..
so in this case even you repair sp area and phone work perfect it WILL BE OFF OR RESTART AFTER 10 TO 30MIN.
in your case phone is on CONTACT SERVICE its need to be authorized to rewrite modified pm which NOT POSSIBLE BECAUSE watchdog is ON.

so simple solution for your phone is BUY ASK 2 RPL.

and stop asking already posted question.

Hello,

I have N91 with fault "Contact service".I did self test (SIM_Lock + Security failed) and I checked IMEI (12345...). So I erase the phone 8MB_Erase+8MB_EE_Erase, then I load newest software version for phone product code (2.10.00),because I rebuilt IMEI by Phoneix,

After that steps phone come up IMEI 1234... and Config and Provider with 00000000, after disconected and reconected phone again to JAF, Config Key+Provider chnaged to FFFFFFFF, so I repair that by BB5King and I did Self Test again and SIM_LOCK and ST_Security was passed. I switched on phone and phone is working with IMEI 12345... (I can make calls), but when plug in charger, charging not working.

Now I rebuilt IMEI, and I wrote good PM ([1],[309]) by SX4 auth,Factory reset,but ST_Security is Failed now and phone come up with fault "Contact provider".

I tried many times wrote different PM with same result.

Please, any idea, how to fix that phone?

then u don't know how to do sx4 and write modified pm now because your phone imei is just fixed now?

I rebuilt IMEI by Phoneix by FPS-21+SX4, but I can't calibrated that phone, because I don't have CU-4 (base for calibration). So I tried fix that phone by JAF.

Yes, I fixed IMEI, but when I did Self test , ST_Security is failed after IMEI rebuild. So I tried wrote PM by JAF with SX4 auth, but ST_ecurity is still failed after I wrote good PM (I tried wrote just [1],[309] and full PM).

I read in some post, that problem could be in HWC and Variant in RPL, becauese when I looked at my RPL back up (Plain format) I didn't find these parts.

way posted and tested. so working in all bb5 and bb5+..
i am specially collecting as much bandlock data as possible. so if any one have he can share so i can upload to free link posted at first page.

old phones never have this i think, or area is not readable with normal method i guess.

but as soon your phone firmware authorize its should accept modified pm. and 90% it should repair.
if same after accepting modified pm then you need to downgrade firmware to test phone if its working or not as many results show it should work.

Hi, i have read the entire first post and have change bands succesfully many times for other models, but now i have a nokia 6301b (BB5+ i guess RM-323) that i need to convert to 900MHz, thats why i am asking for this file, if i ever get this phone with 900MHz (6301) then i will read the rpl for you to have it, but so far no luck finding it, thanks in advanced.
