Full Formatting Tips For Nokia 7710.
 

Use This Method when "Screen is White"
"Phone Start Up Failed Contact the Retialer"

1. Disconnect the charger and remove the battery.
2. Wait for at leats ten seconds and insert the battery to start the device.
3. When you see the NOKIA Welcome screen, immediately press and hold down the [= (Left Key) +Menu [.-
The Key [.- should be press at last.
4. Confirm that you want to format. Formatting start.

Sir,
I have a 7710 with the problem you mentioned above. doesnt start, only shows nokia and then the white screen forever.
I'd like to try the solution.
Can u decribe the process again.

-Wait for about ten seconds and inseert the battery to start the device.

-When you see the NOKIA welcome screen, immediatley press and hold two keys on the left side (the [= key and the Menu key) and shortly after that press and hold the second key from the top on the right side on the phone.

-Confirm that you want to format. Formatting will start.
