How do you tell if your N95 is real? - GSM-Forum

recently purchased another n95 from ebay. It was used for about $100 and the seller said it needed a software reset. Would a fake n95 come with a remote? Mine looks almost exatly like this one but instead of plum its sand color. http://flickr.com/photos/tnkgrl/sets/72157600047780205/

Hi,

From the main menu press any button. If there is delay 2-3 seconds
before anything happens - then your phone is real

Hahaha ... the font of the startup and graphics/font in the menu do not look "right" on the china clones either ... but they do respond to the *#0000# with a v12 firmware revision (albeit with an invalid RM-xx display)

It's orifginal. But, have this some reason if you cant understand real this phone or not by taking in your hands!?
