Bypassing Security code on Nokia 6300 - GSM-Forum

I have Nokia 6300 phone locked with fido (canadian carrier) but the contract is over. The problem here is not the locked phone but the security code which I forgot. So I guess I need the master security code to get into the phone or the option can be flashing my phone. Please tell me which one should I go for. Any help would be appreciated.

I seriously have no idea how to flash the phone. I wen thru all the forums and found that mxkey is among everyones favorite list..tried to look for the software download link but nothing. Do I have to buy that dongle thing to flash my phone?

it seems that you are not in the repairing field .. if you are not then please do not try to take any type of risk on experiencing on your mobiles phones .. i advice you instead of buying any tool to flash a particular set is to go to any technician to solve your problem.

I don't care about my phone. I no longer use it. So I am up for any hardships on it

do with hwk orig,, if u have more money plus mxkey must be ok..

Ok so I really have to buy the mxkey dongle if I want to flash my . Is this what you guys recommend?

if u just need to unlock ur phone then better buy ufs-hwk3 .....else if u need to unlock ur provider then u need mxkey too....choice is urs............

No koolzerro I won't give my phone to the service techs, that was the only reason I joined this forum.

Alright I am done with this. It just doesn't work. So here is what happened when I installed this software. It creates a folder Nokia 5800 Debranding software and when I open that folder 2 dub folders appear, JAFSetup_1.98.62 and OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v 5 respectively. Sadly none of them works, here are the error msgs I got:
