N70 Firmware update issue

Hi all, I changed my code for my phone using NSS then updated my firmware using NSU, all seems to have gone well only I cannot change the settings on my phone . Most things work except whereas I had options before on my screen for contacts etc they are no longer there so for annyting I have to go manually into my options and choose stuff from there. I have tried to change these but as I said earlier the setting does not work. Can I reflash to how my phone was before? or does anyone know how I can get round this.
Thanks in advance.

I now have version 5.0638.3.0.1 18-09-06 RM-84, its a real bugger coz I thought maybe doing a factory reset would sort it out but because I have to input a pin number on restart the factory reset of green 3 and * does not work it just keeps asking me for my pin, does anyone know of another way to factory reset? I have backed up my data before I tried updating the software so I am not bothered by a factory restet.
Cheers

So it means You have got the latest version... You can change your code via NSS (e.g. to EURO1) and make software update via NSU! (some variants are little bit changed)
Or You can reinstall actual firmware also via NSU (checkbox reinstall)...
Or if You want to experiment, You can try to reflash your N70 to N70 music edition (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=347725)

Write if it's useful for you.

Thanks for the repy, I used Euro1 so maybe I will try the music one although from what I read there are some small minus points with using the music version, if someone can let me know what code I could use for an N70 bought in the uk on T-Molile tarrif, the silver and black casing, other than Euro1 I would appreiciate it. Will also try doing the reinstall as you suggested, and then restore again, maybe the restore I used had something to so with it?http://forum.gsmhosting.com/ubb/confused.gif

Cheers

Thanks for your idea daso, it worked a treat , I think my backed up image was corrupt which is what was causing the problem but I just reset everythig from scratch which after all the stuff I had installed and tested it was probably better I start again.
Great forum here guys keep up the good work.
Cheers
