Possible to read/dump fw S40 BB5?

I have a phone that has a modified FW with features that I want to emulate on other handsets.

Is there any software or box that can read and dump the whole FW off the handset?

Basically, I would like to download off the phone the core/image and PPM.

so what is the correct tool for this? Also, would 2 s40 phones with the same model number but different RM's have the same root hash?

Hi,

In most cases, Root hash is same. ATF is the only tool which reads Full Flash
via FBUS cable for RAP3G/S40/BB5 phones. Also, other BB5 models are supported
for Read Flash function. ATF Section: Advance-Box - GSM-Forum
