Nokia Firmware Suite v4 Official Release - GSM-Forum

After a long way, here goes an update for Nokia Firmware suite which is capable of downloading the latest Nokia/Microsoft firmware from Microsoft firmware repository. You can download the firmware for newer Nokia and may be all windows phones.

Nokia Firmware Suite is a free desktop software that helps to download the official firmware from the Microsoft Firmware Repository server. It has been developed to be useful for all kinds of mobile service centres that repair Nokia AKA Microsoft cellphones. The software has been revised and equipped with new features like firmware validation and accelerated download manager which make it more significant and user friendly. Since it has been written in Delphi, no .NET framework or any other runtime depencendy is required to run the application. In addition, it's a portable and thus requires no installation.

No. As written above, this tool is used for downloading Nokia/Microsoft phones firmware from official firmware repository similar to Navifirm. You can also use this tool for validating the flash files checksum.

There are other tools for flashing the phones.

Hello, the idea is good, but this app does not work, maybe after a model but for most simply do not work at all.

Microsoft has removed the firmware for old Nokia devices from their server. This software fetches the firmware directly from Microsoft server. If file not found, it's likely not there.

This app work great for new nokia model like n8,c601,c301,asha300,asha311,nokia 700 etc,but not work for old model exmp 6300,6700,6500,n82,n96,n79,n86 and others old model.
