N70 has a radio and music player to, n70 ME has just different covers but fw is not the same. install this you get both radio and mp3 http://www.gsmegypt.com/support/mouazen/Nokia/N70/ |
N70-1 and n70ME both have mp3 and Radio N70-1 and n70ME both have mp3 and Radio installed so what's the real difference? is it in the firmware? If we can upgrade the firmware of N70-1 , why do we need to buy the N70ME?:) |

Convert Your Standard n70 To n70 Music Edition Convert Your Std n70 To Music Edition Try it in your Own Risk!! This tutorial will teach you to convert ur standard n70 music edition to music edition or even music edition to standard edition. Requirements: *USB provided with your phone *NSS http://www.b-phreaks.co.uk/software.htm *Nokia Software Updater http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4176089 *Latest Firmware available for ur phone http://www.nokia.co.uk/A4305060 NOW WE CAN BEGIN: Install NSS Install NSU Connect your phone and wait for Windows to install the drivers. Open NSS and click on “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window Click on the icon - Phone info; Click on “Scan” Now you can change the Std n70 code to ME code(provided below) product code (on the right of the « phone info » window of NSS). And then mark the case “Enable”. Now press “Write”, and your phone’s product code will be changed (you might think that nothing happened, because the phone is still in normal mode, and the changing of the product code only takes a couple of seconds, but don’t worry, the product code changed !). Close NSS and you can proceed now with the NSU flashing. When the flashing with NSU is over, start-up your phone and you’ll have the pleasant surprise that your phone’s firmware is the latest Nokia branded firmware in date! NOTE: I advise you to disable any anti virus and firewall on your PC during the flashing. N70 Nsu Help!!! Hi, I tried to upgrade my firmware to the n70me from a 3(UK) Branded N70. I followed your guidelines as above changing the product code to 0536418... Unfortunately when I run the NSU, the program fails to find the phone. When I plugged my N73 in and ran NSU the program finds and identifies the N73 without a problem... I have uninstalled Nokia PC Suite and the NSU program along with all the connectivity bits and bobs.. I have also ran the PC Suite Cleaner program. When I reinstall the nokia software I still get the problem with finding the N70. It worked fine before I changed the product code, and even if I change it back to the original code it still doesn't work! What do i try now? Regards, Mildred |
