If your phone is already dead, you can't flash it by usb. If is alive of course you can, just install Phoenix properly

renegade65 - please first know then tell

YES you can revive dead phone by phoenix - from connection list you select NO CONNECTION and you open product (wihch is your phone). After that you perform Firmware Update with DEAD USB FLASHING option enabled.

Juzt remember to press power button when it asks you so.

I know very well what i'm saying, E65 CONNOT BE REVIVED BY DEAD USB METHOD, trust me
Also N70, N73, N95, N80, 6680 etc, phones that have dual procesor

You can revive all 40 series like 6233, 6280, 5200 etc and symbians like E50, E51, N81,

My apologies, didn't noticed phone model

But there were two post regarding USB flashing - this about dead phone doesn't mention specific model. So the answer for celldocreloaded is yes unless it is not one of those mentioned above...

...and I am going somewhere to practise my reading skills

As for this, I must say this is not precise: in certain cases it's possible to revive also s60 phones via usb - personally I recovered through NSU two 6680 killed by phoenix...

If so, why didn't you used Phoenix to revive those phones as is the original powerfull Nokia flasher
Don't get me wrong, i am Phoenix user i also have Jaf-box, i use them both, but some phones can't be flashed by usb dead method, i guess those 6680 that you are saying they weren't completely dead

You don't have to - if you install this package on a clean system it will work with no other cracks. Remember just tu install it on C:, else you will have to point about 30 ddls manually in the patcher.

1.Removed all nokia related softwares from the PC. (Deleted all related registry entries too)
2.followed the guide at first post of this thread
3.Installed flash loaders from UFS_Suite_Setup_v03.04.000.exe
4.Installed Diego (may be cable drivers)
5.flashed
Done.
Thanx for the thread amras555.
