Member: 1068597 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Simcard registration failed error!! Hi all, I using a Nokia 6288 mobile bought from Vodafone NZ, so its a legit phone and expired warranty a while ago. Also i have recently upgraded my firmware from 5.92 to 6.43 and it was working good for 2 days and now i get the error "Sim card registration failed". I have got that error 2 times in 3 days and i just press the RED call hang up button and it goes away and i can use the phone as normal. (call, txt and all is fine). i have also used the same simcard on a Motorola V3x and i never got that error for like 6months or so, but sometimes i don't receive a call randomly (rarely). If the problem is with the sim, would all GSM phones show that error? I have just cleaned the contacts of the phone and put it back, ill see if i get the error message again. But what else i can do? Thanks all. |
