Member: 359553 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Dead 6280 Flashing Guide Hi Mate, Yesterday i tried to flash my N6280 from V3.60 to v5.92 and it was unsuccessful. The phone was dead. So I tried flashing it again using 6270 dead flashing method and now my phone is running again. All of these, I've used only USB cable. I'll attach the guide just in case you guys want it. http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.ph...471FBF4364C4AE |

Member: 359429 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | This is my first post everyone so Hi! Flashed my 6280 from 3.81 to 5.92 yesterday and it died. Reflashed using the dead phone guide (didnt follow it 100% though, I chose USB-connection and of course RM-78) and it woke up! During the end of the flashing Phoenix claimed it couldn't connect (similar error I got during the first flash) but I retried and it worked. It is workning again and now I got a 5.92 6288 =) Props to all involved in making this possible! |

Member: 359429 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I downloaded 6280_RM-78_dp_v_325.0_mcusw05.92.exe and installed according to the instructions. I've noticed other ppl getting a 6288 too. I didn't think this would cause any problems but actually it seems like the Nokia PC Suite doesn't support 6288 and is unable to find a driver for it. Alas, I'm unable to download themes and such... I dunno which firmware I was supposed to get instead, I chose 6280 3 Sweden Black in the list. Should be the right one. |
