A1018 dead? - GSM-Forum

Hi all,
I have dead (maybe) A1018. Phone is only light on and one beep, nothing on display. Is possible to bring him to live?

is the green led lighting when you put a sim card.
if so read a eeprom from a good one and write it back to the "dead" one.

Read eeprom and edit adress 1F14. must be 00 or 02.

read eeprom and see 1F14H. If you have value 00, change to 02. If have 02, change to 00. A1018 have 2 types LCD displey. 1F14h stored display type.

Sorry Ved. I dont know about GH688. Try search GH688 eeprom map. I have only eeprom map for GA628

Try to upload good eeprom and flash it. If phone dont comunicate with PC, is there a hardware problem.
