Do have solution for DEAD phone? - GSM-Forum

Hi all

I have big mistake. I Flash Ericson a1018 with wrong version flash with ER2000. And have some else. First I change the EEprom with 24c65 (old 24c64, I break one pin but dump all info from old one). After power the phone the screen dosn't work but the sound on the phone tell me the phone is work.
Now the phone is dead with wrong flasher.
more flashbeck: the phone work for 10 min. after that is power off.
The question:
Haw to reflash the phone if i can't power on?

try to use external power supply of 5 volts on pin 1 of system connector.

Hi Squesch

I try with ext. power 5V. 3 pin GND 1 pin +5V
No response from the phone.
The same story.

Hi Charlie.

i think you dont have nothing on the sceen is because you have a old dump and a new flash on the phone, you have to put any new .bin from other phone and flasher it again, and dont use external power in the test mode pin use the 5v from the batery.

me too have problem like this
i flash a1018 t10 t18 with uspu4.2
at the biginnig my cable was not the correct one a get respons from phone but after this action i can not put my phone on
now i change the cable but there is no respons from my phone and i can not switch it on
need help

Thanks for Squesch and MisterMister

The solution (I have response from the phone) is lika that:
1. Power the phone with the ext. power: the phone will flash with red if the batery is not full ( need to wait for charge the battery)
2. need to swich off the batery and use the ext. power from cable 5 v into pin 5. ( when you connect the pin 5 you need to see red flash on the phone)
3. On the screen You don't see notting but the the phone will response with er2000.
4. Have some small problem when the er2000 will ask the power the phone for second time but need to repead step 1,2 and 3.

Now I have Mesage: Blank Checking , but that it one step more to repere the my phone.

If somebady have solution what need to do next will be great to help me to find the solution. Of course it public for everybady>

Hi
Your problem whith blank check is because you have external power 5v to the phone, i dont know why but A1018/Txx dont accept external power in Pin 7 (test mode in the old schematics i have here for 6xx/7xx) you
have to put a shunt pin7 to pin 12 and not exyernal power, if you do that you will see you dont have anymore Blank check.
At the 3th time whe programa says to Power ON the phone and the programa dont answer take out the battery again desconect the cable and turn the Phone ON and Turn it Off again, then connect to PC and power On the program must run again and then Erase flash, Blank check, and Flashing the phone.
This is the experiencies i have made and it works fine whith me.
