Member: 1456 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  Ericsson free help site closing down http://www.freesite.co.za/computers/ericsson/ I have received an e-mail from my free web hoster, saying that as of 1 April, the free service is closing down. No offer of even having a pay website was given. I am forced to shut down the free ericsson help site, as with 6 days notice I don't have the time to download all the files (over 40 megs of which I no longer have those same files/filenames etc on my harddrive), and upload them again to another free server. I am deciding whether to make a new site, but that all depends on a reliable free server with enough space. If any of you can suggest a server of this type, that allows for real html editing (not premade quick pages), please let me know. I am sorry for the inconvenience of the site having to shutdown. I just stuck my download manager to download everything on auto, and to disconnect when done, as I was going out. I managed to get all files, and so will probably upload to a tripod freesite soon. For too many reasons too explain, I have lost by backups of the actual html pages (index & download) page of the ericsson help pages. I have all the zip files themselves (all been uploaded to a registered domain already), but have lost the html pages. If anybody saved them or had them available for offline viewing, PLEASE get hold of me!!!!!! Otherwise, I am going to have to try restart all that again. Thanks Prodigal [email protected] |
