The ERAIO does not support changing the startup logo, it only allows you to change the welcome message.

I have written (under the name FireBird) a program that is able to change the graphics logo. Previously the logo dimensions the program supported were up to 97x19, but now they are 100x24. I am working on a version that will support bitmaps of size 101x33.

You are right. ERAIO only allows changing welcome message, as many other progs do.

Would you share your logo changing program with us? How does it work? I imagine it makes the changes in a flash file and you must flash the phone with this file, no?

Yes, you are right.
The program finds the original Ericsson logo (actually there are four exact copies) and replaces it by the bitmap.
The program is *not* on the web yet, I will release it soon... In two weeks or so.
It supports A1018, T10 and T18. I am working on T28, but I am short of time (working on my PhD thesis).

everybody can easy change welcome text

but everybody can change welcome logo into orginal ericson then you only have to change some Hex

that's all

Hi S-max!

It is not so easy to find the logo bitmap position because it is not stored in a way we could expect, as an ordinary bitmap, but the logo is constructed from 10 separate characters, every 17 points high, first nine 10 points wide and the last 7 points wide.
You may relatively easy change the bitmap definition, but you have to know WHERE it is.
Now, I am able to extend the character bitmap dimensions up to 10x24, it is the current top... I find it to impossible to extend them to the size of 10x32 without deeper knowledge of the firmware.
