v180 is not unlocking - GSM-Forum

I have some new v180s that have a manufacture date of 06/2005 and they are not unlocking with Smart Unlocker. The light just stays red and I have tried unlocking the phone while it was being charged. I have also updated the clip to version 2.15.

Also specify the cable, power supply & step-by-step process..

Read instructions before unlocking. When display turns off while unlocking power on the phone within 2-3 seconds.... I think it should work.

Software: R365_G_0B.D2.2

I am using the mini-USB cable that came with the clip and it is powered by a 9 volt battery.

I turn on the phone while it is plugged into the charger and plug in the USB. After the phone is powered on, I press the unlock button and 2 seconds later, I get a solid red. The phone does not go into boot mode.

I don't think it's bootloader problem,I think it's connection problem. Check your cable, clean phone connector.

I've tried several brand new cables and these phones are brand new. I've even tried using several new 9v batteries.

Do not use a battery. Only mains power adapter with 9V & more than 300mA output..
