5500d RM-86 Blinking after bad unlock attempt
 

I recieved this from a customer, he tried using the Unlock Button on BB5 tab instead of NOTP Unlock and now it is blinking white screen only,

Any ideas how I could repair this one?

I think tomorrow a new solution is being released to correct any errors for unlocking.

tell him to write the pm back.

But saying that, you remember we tried to write pm with UB to my n95 and it killed it..Lol

Just wait until tomorrow I guess until new version is released.
maybe there is a repair solution that comes with it

I will have to have a look on his shop pc tomorrow when I go up see if it has backed up the PM, if not anyone got any further ideas?
This was done using the wrong button so not sure if the old one creates the PM backup or not?

PM backup was created but unviversal doesnt seem to want to write it back?

why did you try another gadget...

u can't write PM bkp if phone can power on Local/Test mode.

backup crt (imei), erase flash, write full flash, write good pm, then retore CRT and PM308.

you need 3 or 4 step

1. full erase.
2. full flash Last vercion. your phoen poweron. but have ime Damaged.

3. restaure backup PM

if you do not get backup of the PM. you need service ASK->RPL.

your phone word very good.. tested for me..

if you have rpl backup and also pm backup, please try to erase phone and flash with latest version, if don't have backup you need ask to rpl service !!!

what is fastest way to get an rpl calculated these days?
