E71 latest firmware unlock? - GSM-Forum

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone had success on unlocking a E71 with the latest firmware (v300.21.012)? Didn't seem to get any luck so far :-(

Can you upgrade to the latest version and try unlocking then? Support for the latest firmware ver 300.21.012 (RM-346) was added 07-07-09. Please post back with logs on whether the unlock was successful.

im having the same problem with phone+firmware

Try to downgrade to another version and than try to unlock...This version gives trouble to unlock.......Dont forget to make all backups before you downgrade the phone CRT and full PM.

its too risky and hard to downgrade firmware

also tested N96 latest version not work.
don't try to downgrade latest version of this phone before backup .cause phone will damage simlock

has anybody successfully unlocked 6220c v3.46 with ub? it gives error. sometimes wouldnt connect

how can we unlock new model e71s then.. and also why does the main site say everything is supported :S

can you post a log of the latest version unlock ?

e71x at&t can be unlocked by ub. i have done couple of it

yeah none of the unlocked phones were the newest e71 firmware

isnt the latest firmware supposed to be supported, since the about files say the server does support the latest firmware, but it cant seem to calculate the unlock code

this is really annoying me now since i really want to use this phone on my chosen network

Rather surprised to see all these replies going on and thanks a lot for your input so far.

Has anyone come to a conclusion yet? Better yet, can anyone confirm unlock success with phone+firmware?

shouldnt the phone be simlock SL2+ though? i cant get access to the error logs easily
