How to save UB software version?


There always b a lot of bugs everytime UB team released it new version.I very scare to update my box coz after update it(if the version have bugs) my box will bcom problem n it take few days sometime few week for UB team to fix this bugs.So it mean i can't use my box for that period.What i request is i want to use back it old version if the new version got problem but i dono how..I hope UB team or anyone here will teach this solution so all of us can use our box n UB team can take time to repair the bugs..

If you have more than 1 PC or laptop, just do the updates on one of them!

ok thks..this mean i should save UB folder to extended hardisk before i do update...

another tip, when updating your box, just use windows explorer and rename c:\uni\uni.exe to c:\uni\uni_old.exe so you will have the old version still intact. then if you want to use the old version, just make a shortcut of it in your desktop. HTH..

but inside box is new version of SW witch work only with new version of SW on PC... or not?

It depends, if the SMCU of is also updated same time as a version is updated, YOU HAVE NO CHOICE but to use the latest one, but last update i think from 2.06 can be use with the current SMCU algo AFAIK.... HTH
