Nokia N70 Flashing Error - GSM-Forum

Hi...I have a Nokia N70 with a white screen probelm which I am trying to flash. I have downloaded the flash file version 2.0539.1.2 which contains the product code for the phone. But when I select the product code it does not automatically load the mcu and ppm files so I manually select the file mcu file (2053912_RM84RD.V55) but I get this error

Terminated with error: 000100A6,000100AE,000100B8,0001107B etc

I have even tried a fllash file from version 5.0616.2.0.3 and don't select the product code as it's not listed there. I select the flash file RM84_50616203.CO but I still get the same error.

Can someone please help? Thanks

You try erase flah and Flash try again!

try to use other box, jaf will do.

this is universalbox section, dnt tell others to try other boxes. we wnna knw the prob with this box not other boxes. and i do have other boxes, but i'm happy with this 1!!

I don't have jaf and I've spent enough money on the universal box so I would like to see universal box work rather than just try another solution each time uni box doesn't do the job.
We need to share solutions to make the uni box work for us all.

I tried to erase the flash but I get the same terminated error message when trying to erase flash.

I'm using the 2 pin power adaptor that came with the box.

The box cant select the correct files, if not all .ini file donloaded. Anyway, i think you downgraded your phone. Today we will start our US server, so who have good connection to USA, can download full sw version and then select the files from the dropdown menu. Use the latest file to repair your phone.

I downloaded the files again and this time when I select the product code the mcu and ppm files are selected but I still get the same terminated error message when I try to flash the phone or even when I tried to erase the flash.
I have successfully flashed another N70 the same way so I don't think that I am doing anything wrong.

Maybe problem Firmware virsion!
Pls! High or latest Flash files use then Flash!

PS:
I try BB5 Flshing allways this one!
With out Enable High Speed Flash.
Use 6.0V to 6.5V input power.

Hi...I am using the lastest firmware 5.0. and am using the power supply that came with the uni box. I will try without Enable High Speed Flash. Thanks
