ESN CHanging

Does the ESN Patched, also send to the network?

I mean can it clone a CDMA phone?

does it impact on the CAVE Authentification?

thanks......

A-key is in CAVE Authentifications scheme. it's CDMA networks security.

If your operator doesn't have security systems, then nothing happens, you will just have weird episodes (one phone rings first when someone calls, one phone will receive sms's and the other don't etc.).

If your operator does have security systems, but if you enter a valid Akey in both handsets then you will have the same scenary as above, only when the handsets are relatively close (the measures of the operator may vary, in general, the handsets can be a few Base Stations apart) but if you have cloned handsets registered in distant BTS's then the Operator could do something.
