Do we need to modify BB5 cable when we flash with ufs??


Can anybody flash any BB5 phones with success without modifying their cables?? So far i only can unlock security code with the bb5 cable.


Please give feedback if you are able to flash bb5 without modifying cables. Thanks

Who can say for sure? Since it depends how old your cables are, from where they came from, even if the cable was bought new in the last week, can still have been in storage somewhere. Best option is to check the cable against the schemas, also taking note to change the 3.xk resistor to either 5.1k, 7.5k and possible 10k.
