how to use ASK and RPL on HWK - with image and video tutorial

hello all members

Today we have an important subject, and I hope thats will add a new info for you

first of all
If you didn't have MT or JAF boxs

and you only have HWK

how you make erase flash and you can't make RPL backup
and if I erase the flash the IMEI will be corrupted and will be 123456
so you can't open your device and not working correctly

SO now we can erase the (BB5) flash on your box HWK
and can make RPL backup, and can write it again

and you can read ASK

lets now see the steps with pictures and we have
video to make it easy way
our device now is N70

download video
http://www.gem-flash.com/programs/Rp..._GeM-FLasH.rar

now you should make backup for RPL and PM

http://gem-flash.com/upz/images/985_...em_flash_1.jpg

after click on Rd Cert, and Rd PM
will ask you for where you will save your files

this image show how to backup on your HWK, and saved on the folder on desktop

http://gem-flash.com/upz/images/968_..._gem_flash.jpg

now we have backups and we can erase the full flash
and after erase

can restore the PM as the picture below

http://gem-flash.com/upz/images/189_..._gem_flash.jpg

http://gem-flash.com/upz/images/179_...em_flash_2.jpg

now can write back RPL

phone now work good and restored the main IMEI

Just say how to backup PM and certificates and how to write them back...

Ask file has nothing to do with your job and you are just writing back the backup.. RPL means REPLAY as REPLAY to an ASK (request).

So the title is absolutely wrong!

You don't get it:
There is not any ASK file in your tread!! is only a copy of PM and Certificates!
What you call ASK is not an ASK file is the back-up of the PM area and certificates!
You must GENERATE an ask file and HWK doesn't have this option!
when you generate this file, you must send to a proper server to create from it the RPL file. They will send to you and you can write it.
Now you know what is an ASK file and what is an RPL file

Thanks

BR

Alex

note. ask2rpl means ASK TO REPLAY

note. ask2rpl means ASK TO REPLAY

you can try before replay by your self, and see the pictures in the main topic, and see the files when save the ASK file ;)

a file.ask is less the 1kb

the one you'r talking about is 20k

anyway.. you keep talking about things you don't know... and still presume to be right.

Wasting my time as you do with the other people time here..

oOXTCOo 04-15-2009 23:09

the ask file is only the rap puplic id...

i think you can make real ask file by your self with hwk...

just creat txt file write:

[CERT_PROG_DATA_IN]
RAP_PUBLIC_ID=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

and save it with (imei) 000000000000000.ask

and you have your ask file...
