evening all,

I get this error when flashing k750i, i know what the problem is, its plain there for all to see, but would like to know how to fix using SeDbx?

i'm suggest, sedbx must do auto backup at erom area before flashing and rewrite it back after flashing mcu before writing cust/fs. also add warning message when writing gdfs (IF WRITING GDFS AVAILABLE IN NEXT UPDATE) if it reach to security area like writing pm with dctxbb5.

You cannot fix it with SeDBx, SeDBx is only for flashing phones which are in working condition at the moment. (unless is dead due to bad flash and so long as GDFS and EROM/CERT is ok)

I had this same error on an W800i a few days ago and fixed it with KZF.

Thanks for suggestion, but it already does warn about security area, but you would not know this since you cannot use the option.

Hmm, need help then mate ,cos kzf is making errors when writing it!

In fact, EVERY box has errored so far mate!

P.S. Have checked folders, cant seem to find k750 gdfs, would you happen to have one i could use please?

you dont need to write gdfs if you got that error, coz it its locks now but the soft said gdfs corrupt. what i do is convert to brown then unlock. then convert back to red. flash again only with 2 mcu.after that use restore then choose DB2010_RED_36_EROM.bip. and then write again cust\fs. Good Luck.....

NOTE Error is on GDFS Init and says FIRMWARE corrupted not GDFS corrupted, you dont need a GDFS, but to write the correct EROM.

So in your first post you said error was plain to see for all, except for you maybe?

OK, so then, why do other boxes, ir SETool UB and MT SE all give gdfs error when flashing then?

It has had new erom mate, but still same problem!

Hm, same problem here with K750i

KZF and SETool can't fix the GDFS problem error. The phone is 36RED.

I tried everything but the phone is still dead.

kindo Freak Poster Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: pok wong malaysia Posts: 122 Member: 300886 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 61	you dont need to write gdfs if you got that error, coz it its locks now but the soft said gdfs corrupt. what i do is convert to brown then unlock. then convert back to red. flash again only with 2 mcu.after that use restore then choose DB2010_RED_36_EROM.bip. and then write again cust\fs.
