We posted here this info regarding many questions about W-8/V-85 unlocking solution.
If you not understand I can explain again.
By our opinion there is 2 possible solutions for unlocking W-8:
- with existing SE boxes;
- with new tools.
The first is fastest . safe and cheap if someone of profiss have got needed loader.
The second one will take more than 3 months and new investments from both sides. :rolleyes:

For today there are 2 variants Unlock)
1. Costs cheaply - but the effort in delete compaund
2. Costs dearly - has pressed Unlock and it is ready (the only thing TP)

I don't think that second away exist....(TP are well know, but problem is in another place!)

As usual in Sagem phones, but code is 16 digit long!

But my unlock code have 14 digits. Any chars before code like *#??

Also must be brainless person that think his unlock code it's the imei number he posted. For hobbist info in ukraine and russia ppl unlock there allready them by unsoldering flash chips, reading them and patch and after writting back.

yeah this method is well known... ;) If you are totaly crazy and like
"******** gsming" (new creation by me)....then desolder flashchip and unlock phones by this way...if i will do it like this..i want 500Euro for each unlock :D

seems "******** gsming" is a future of unlocking. now is much more harder 2 stoll loaders or find a hole in security. just see nokia BB5, new calipso+ securite boot sagem etc. if some time ago we invest on software now we will invest on hardware. such sings goes on...

There are only one way :-) Just patch it. Coz it are SE based Sagem , and not supported by EMMA software and no one cannot steal official loaders for it.
No loaders - no flashing! No flashing - no unlock!

There are only one way - unlock by patching but U need expensive HW and lot of time :-)
Second possible way - jtag , but we have not CPU documentation so we have only one way...

Ahhh I forgot to say - glued IC-s and boards very like to die while desolder/solder flash IC.

One year flow away from moment when we help Vitja2002 to get the money. So.. I just glad that not all info was lost.
Realy problem is not in some wonerfull documentation. Problem in DB2000. If you can run something in ram, why you not run patching loader from any other DB2000 SE or LG or SHARP? Or you don't know ram and rom addrs? He-he. Ask Vitalik, he told you.

what type of cable and pinout or some external power do you use for cruiser connection? Only RX TX GND enought?
