Best idea, is to change PID to retail one - 4034X-2[X=A,B,C,D,E,G,J]ALGB1 and use factory OTU Updater - HERE

I have attached scatter file, load it into some newer SPFlashTools,
read pro_info partition - start addr: 0x800000 , length : 0x680000 ,
edit pid with notepad++ , write back with SPFT (ctrl+alt+v),
drop down menu "Window" - Memory Write option, same address as for reading - 0x800000
and after that, just start OTU Updater and follow instructions

i flashed 4034 was on tesco uk..also phone needed google account bypass,.(frp)
i flashed it with your firmware in upgrade mode....with SPFlashTools....
phone working perfect,,.no google bypass needed...your firmware did the bypass same time....

Need help for Alcatel 4034x Bro please tell me this rom can remove my phone sim lock because my phone sim lock counter has been permanently blocked so atleast can possible to reset counter by flashing

After flashing posted ROM (post #4), sim-lock will be gone, no need to unlock it.
Retail ROM's are sim-free by default.

Try wipe data/cache from recovery, then flash with "Firmware Upgrade" option from SPFT.

hi there, i'm in need of the rom for Alcatel PIXI4(4) for Claro Ecuador, 4034a.
I gave a try to the UK rom you posted but it´s network locked. Any solution please.

UK ROM from this thread is not sim-locked. It's RETAIL rom,
means - no sim lock in it.

And my phone is 8gb ROM and 1gb RAM and whit this rom it only has 512 of Ram:confused::confused::confused:

Maybe its because the rom isn´t for Latam?? don´t know why but it prompts for network key, and i can´t find the exact rom.

Yesturday i have the same problem with ALCATEL 4034X ID: 4034X-2AOBGB2 with
SIM ME LOCK (NP)- Locked to O2 UK:

1. Flashing with SPFlash tool 5.1720.00 in Download only mode- No success
2. Flashing with SPFlash tool 5.1720.00 in Firmware Upgrade mode- No success
3. Flashing with SPFlash tool 5.1720.00 in Format All+Download mode- Finaly Lock is Gone.

Hi,
I have bought ALCATEL PIXI 4034X-2AE8GB1 in UK and it was locked on UK networks, I have tried to flash the 4034X-2XALGB1 stock ROM and now the phone is bricked and all I get in SPFT is

BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (0xFC0)
EMI - Enable DRAM Failed!
HINT -Please check your load matches to your target which is to be downloaded.

Please help me to unbrick the phone and install the correct ROM

Try with "Format ALL and Download" option,
or try with "Firmware Upgrade" option.

my screen not view in vfd 300!

I have the same DRAM error. Anyone have flash for 4034X-2AOBGB2 ?

Hmm ok so I flashed a UK O2 model 4034X-2AOBGB2 with the 4034X-2XALGB1 rom in this thread (including preloader).

Now the phone doesn't boot and I can't flash anything else to it. always the same DRAM error 4032.

Format, update etc all don't work. Same SP flash tools version as the other poster. The repair flash has a bad scatter but even with a fixed one it won't start to flash anything.

I flashed the wrong preloader to my 4034X (O2 GB2) and now it won't flash anything. I got hold of a new one and can use 'read back' in sp tool to read the preloader out of it.

But droid tools doesn't work to create the scatter file, and neither does it convert the read back bin file (because it doesn't know the scatter).

How can I copy the preloader from the working phone to the dead one? (Using another rom from the internet doesn't work and gives me DRAM error).

I tried that scatter file and flash but that’s what killed the first phone.

On the second phone I flashed it without preloader and it works fine.

Now I need to fix the first phone. I read the Preloader from the working phone using sp flash tool and looked at the file produced, the preloader is longer than the length in all these scatter files.

The new file has a different format (a file header) too. I tried to manually remove it but sp flash tool still won’t accept the file.

I either need a full backup from a GB2 phone or a way to read it back from my working phone.

I managed to strip out the container from the preloader i read from the working phone and flash it back to the dead one, and everything works now :)

I was initially getting a DRAM error because the preloader in the flash files on the net are different from the one required for this phone.

Hmm now a different issue. I got 3 new phones, and when i flash the same recovery to them it fails to boot. I think the oem lock is still set and won't unlock.

so i urgently need to find 4034X-2AOBGB2 firmware, or any way to back it up from a working phone.

It seems no custom recovery will boot on this phone, so I wonder if the oem lock is still on. I tried to unlock it again and again but I think this new rom is not doing it properly.

1) I flashed Twrp recovery, it fails to boot into it (it tries then restarts the phone into normal mode)
2) I ran the alcatel upgrade tool to upgrade it. It restore the recovery although it says 4034D instead of 4034X now.
3) I tried to unlock the bootloader - it succeeds, returns to fastboot and is stuck there (as the first phone). I reboot and it boot loops showing android green robot then reboot.
4a) I tried to flash twrp, still same issue won't boot.
4b) I repeated 1 to 3 but this time I tried to fastboot boot the recovery - same issue
4c) I repeated 1, 2, and tried to flash and boot the recovery - same issue.

Any idea what's going on here? I just picked up 2 more phones, and they both do the same thing :/

Looks like bootchain cheks are now implemented into new software / android version.

However, since you now have working rom, you can try some of custom recoveries
(ctr v6.6, twrp 3.0.2, 3.1.0).

Flash it normally with SPFT. Reboot immediately into recovery, after flashing.
