Have an old Alcatel U5 lying around which seems to be dead ,will not turn on will not charge,and when connecting to pc just keeps disconnecting.
any way to revive it...thanks

As soon as you post exact factory model and PID ...
(4047D, 5044Y, 5044D, 4047X, 5044A, 5044T, 5044O, 4047F, 4047A etc.)
Will be more some bigger chance to help you.

p.s. What was the original problem with the device ?
It just became dead of "lying around" or ... ?

Have you tried to charge battery ?
Or remove battery and charge on external power source ?
Have you tried connecting phone to PC ?
Does PC see some new usb device ?
