One Touch 908s: No "Network Code" prompt with foreign SIM card

Hello.

I have a One Touch 908s that I have the unlock code for, however when inserting a Foreign SIM card it does not prompt for the network unlock code. (It did yesterday but I was at that point hitting "Dismiss" to get into the phone").

I found and tried this method but also not working:

Model : Method Generic

1 - Switch ON your phone without SIM Card,
2 - Then compose : *#0000*CODE#,
3 - To finish compose : *#0001*CODE#.

The weird thing is even when I insert the original SIM card (which is still active) it say "No Service" and will not pick up network.

Please help.

When I try this method:
1 - Switch ON your phone without SIM Card,
2 - Then compose : *#0000*CODE#,
3 - To finish compose : *#0001*CODE#.

I get a message
"Emergency Call
Call not sent, *#0000*code# is not an emergency number"

Try update with a generic firmware and Unlock with NCKdongle or Box that support Alcatel
