Member: 813309 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2,030 | [Guide]Root Alcatel One Touch Mobile Phones I don't feel responsible for any problems Searching the web for the Alcatel One Touch Mini Idol 6012 CMW, I found a solution to install a custom recovery and make the root. download MKTDroidTools and follow the simple steps Link download Mtk Droid Tools v.2.5.3 1) after connecting wait to be recognized, 2) if it is green continue to point (5) 3) if it is blue, you first need to root the device and then you start 4) If it is yellow, press Root permission and confirmation on the device (if required) 5) select the tab Root, Backup, Recovery 6) to the right of the button and Recovery Boot, select "use boot from phone" 7) confirms all subsequent requests to the last and choose to boot from recovery and done, you'll have a working CWM. Next metode is: Download KingoRoot.apk for Free Click download for Android, the page will turn to download page. Press OK to save KingoRoot.apk on your device. Install and launch KingoRoot.apk Before you start to root, open "Unknown Sources " first. If "Unknown Sources" is disabled KingoRoot.apk can not be installed in your device. Launch KingoRoot.apk You should fully aware of the PROS & CONS about rooting your Alcatel. You may start rooting after you completely understand the benefit and risk. Click "One Click Root" to begin the rooting process. Alcatel POP4 root metode: install custom recovery by nandroid backup(install from google play) custom recovery downlaod from there: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6E...FuVmdUcUk/view After complete restart phone and hold vol up when turning on phone to enter recovery and install superSU.zip by custom recovery after this phone will be fully rooted. Alcatel generic root metode for models that kingroot aplication not work: install custom recovery by nandroid backup(install from google play) After complete restart phone and hold vol up when turning on phone to enter recovery and install superSU.zip by custom recovery after this phone will be fully rooted. I've been trying to find a compass app and have discovered that as this model has no magnetometer I cannot use a compass app. Does anyone know how I can get round this? I know I can buy an ordinary hiking compass but it would be nice to have one on the U5. |
