Lots of v50 no network !!!


This is sounding funny by now,
But its true, lots of this phone either dead or no network, simple.

Solution?

my V50 has both problems and neither -- at the SAME time!

It switches on...then stays on for 10secs, then resets itself including a blank screen for a second..then comes on again for 10secs.....repeating this all the time.

If theres a simple way of avoiding that switching off (only does it with a SIM in)...then i wanna know too lol.

Ya don't think there is a chip in them like they have in washing machines etc?? kind of passing a date so they go faulty ???!!!

maybe...but YES i'm a cynic!

@slyder,
I think by reflowing the PCB of the phone will solve your proble: that is the top side aroung PA and Ant. switch, cos you said it does that with sim in it.
Try and see.

Could you explain to a newbie yet quite experienced solderer ....what reflowing is? is it simply 'reflowing' solder round connections

REFLOWING???

Reflowing simply means flowing hot air on the PCB with the rework station (hot air statiopn).

Keep asking , you will learn more.
