Member: 379781 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | L6 (L7, V3?) mic ways ? schematic here I have an L6 I am guessing that the mic is the same in L7 & V3's. The phone was water damaged obviously water has got into the little whole and jammed up the graphite or something; it still works but barely. It looks like 3 layers of fiberglass. Like Kaami said keep the heat low. I just want to confirm this removal method before doing it as it might wreck a working 70% mic. The mic looks like more than just a microphone ie. power into it therefore it must have an amplifier in it or some active filter. Is there a way to fixing this mic? I tried air jet but no affect. Member: 379781 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 9 | L6 charge way, my fix I don't guarantee that it will work for all charging problem but I fixed one that was not charging. Symptom: No power up, power plugged in it says charging but finishes quickly, battery read only 1.6v. Universal charge detects no power. Solution: Well I did not have a spare battery to swap with. Because the phone came alive charging when plugged in, suggests something to do with the battery. The phone was water damaged, I peeled off the battery plastic cover, the battery cell actually was fully charged after all the attempts and left overnight. The problem was caused by corrosion in the circuitry inside the battery. Clean it up, the voltage measured 4.06v, great! plug it in to phone and all is swell. For people with invalid battery, try another battery 1st if it works then most likely your battery circuitry is shorting. A working battery measure 10kohms between -ve (pin4) and pin 3 (THERM) next to it; check that too. Anyway check the circuit below, on L6 block diagram there is VR324 that goes to OWB (One Wire Bus), R910, R911 for current limiting look at the green charge color path. The battery is labeled 3.7v and charger is 5v; the zener is 6.93v just as an overvoltage protection. Possible solution for other no charge & invalid battery, without the battery: 1) Check VR324 & VR325 not short by measuing Pin 4 to 1 & 2 2) Pin4 to Pin3 of battery = 10Kohms 3) Meassure at Pin 1 > +4v with USB charge & battery (need fly wire to battery) in if not check open R910 & R911, if they are OK 4) Check Q905 % Q906 FET at S & D if voltage is gating Last edited by panlem; 05-03-2007 at 00:37. |
