Mostly a cable issue. It must switch over the phone easily between local and flash mode.

6288 downgrade to 3.81
this is true with me also
i have downgraded around 10 6280 handsets with mt all successful but today i got 6288 to unlock so i downgraded from 6.81 to 3.81 but phone in blinking so i tried with jaf and it was successfully downgraded
please mt check if any bug in software..........

use jaf to downgrade. i tried several times downgrading 6.43 to 3.81 with the same problem. jaf worked first time then mt-pro to unlock
