N91 rm43 dead by usb flashing


Got n91 which has died on me via usb flashing so have been trying to flash via rj45 fbus cable but phone cannot boot, cable works fine on other n91 so i no it is fine, any help on this one.

Mate! Try Mt-Box with phoenix software dead flashing N91. and also check your fbus cable resistance 5.1k or 7.5k if you have low then replace it.

7.5k resister i put in it, i had already flashed this phone once using usb but died on second attempt. cable works fine on other phone.

cant find that on torrent server but have version 2006 but when i am trying to install it keeps say plug in nokia dongle but my mt box is plugged in.

Mate! Open Mt-Box software and press "PKD- Emul" then run phonix software exe. phonix software complete then restart your pc but don't disconnect Mt-box in pc.

thanks just downloaded that, do i have to flash direct by usb or can i use rj45 fbus cable directly out of box into the back of the phone.

@LHICK is right Dead USb not supported with phonix.

Read that manual and that is what i have done already, at the moment i am praticing with a living n91 but can get it to read just says ready in the botton left and no product to the right of that and if i click product info just get a load of errors, phone does show local mode on the screen though

got version 2007 now. but still not sure about the connection between the box and software ie which port does it run on or does that not matter.

getting so far now but can only see box saying dead usb flashing but in ealier post say on can do with fbus not usb anyway i check that option and it will then let me press start, but give me message saying no data package selected (product code is empty) but when i click the product code button it wont let me select anything in there.
