Why JAF BB5 is 7 pin but MT-Box Nokia is 10 pin?

Can anybody explain why there is a difference in cables on the phone side?

What benefit is obtained from the use of the extra pins? Is it because MT-Box Nokia can perform more functions and hence the extra pins are needed?

You'd figure you'd only need the same number of pins on the phone side but obviously that's not the case.

No not spamming just recently opening my eyes to other solutions besides JAF so I'm new to MT-Box. You say there's an adapter and I think I read in the sticky that you have to use it with MT Box Nokia. so why then if there's an adapter is the E90 MT-Box BB5 cable 10 pin? Since the adapter disables 2 of the 10 pins?

If you use 10 pin cables then no need to use cable addapter, connect it direct to MT box.

Can anyone please tell me what are the advantages that I can get if I have MT-BOX over JAF?

Is there any thing special in MT which cannot be done by JAF?

Please reply me as soon as possible, coz I have already own JAF and i m planning to buy MT-BOX if I get something better than JAF.
