Repair GDFS is freely availiable online and it consists of two files with names something like this:
HD0503-092-M-000.cus
HD0503-FFS-092-M-000.SSW
Inside the folder Õ:\Program Files\microcell\Flash Programmer\HD0503-092-M\cust are stored very similiar pair of files the only difference being that instead of 000 their numbers are starting from 001 till 167. Everything is very simple: delete the files with # 167. Copy our 000 files and rename to 167. That is all.
After these exercises we get the possibility in the Customisation option to choose the awaited "Repair GDFS". Since we have chosen the highest number it will be the last on the list.


And for me as i don't have good internet...i can't search for....Regards

Hi mates,

I tried to repair with respect to instruction a c62 version 16 lg1 and the results are

Programmer
* Version 2.83 (Build 169)
* Copyright (C) 2000-2003 Microcell Ltd

Initializing...
Uploading flash algorithm...
Waiting phone restart...
Uploading flash algorithm...
Loading software file...
Software file loaded.
Flashing software...
Flashing software failed. Block verification failed for block 3, error code: 7.

I tried also to change HD0503.ini flash write mode setting from 4 to 3,2,1 without any sucess. Now phone is dead then please how to repair it.

Now I know there is a similiar case in C62 flasher thread.

Hi mates,
Before flashing I can have information.
I use a standard charger with a 10k serial resistor to limit the current.
I will try to omit the resistor and post results.

I will share my experiements.

1 I use Win98se instead winxp
2 with a charger 8.5v 750mA (i omit the protection resistor)

and the process goes fine.
