CL75 Data Cable Problems

I have a USB data cable and the latest version of MPM (mobile manager) software from the Siemens website, but I'm still having problems.

I can connect and communicate between the PC and the phone but the connection is intermittent at best. In fact it doesn’t work most of the time. I have managed to sync some of my contacts, but I was also hopping to transfer picture files from the phone to my PC but one the MPM software recognises that a CL75 is connected many of the MPM feature are unavailable.

Is the poor connection typical or is there a phone or PC set up problem (I’m using XP).

Is there any other way of transferring file between the phone and a PC?

what USB cable do u have ? DCA 540 or DCA 510? Please write to me your data cable code. About the Mobile Phone Manager, not all the MPM software (Siemens) working on CL75 phones ...

Thank you for responding to my thread.

I'm not sure which type the cable is, as it is not Siemens branded. I bought it on the web and it is marked USB-SIE001, SIE SX1, SIE CX65 (made in China). Which version should I use?

The online shop claims it should work with the CL75, even through it is marked for the SX1 and CX65.

I have MPM 4.06.08.21.0, which I down loaded from the Benq-Siemens site, which kinda works. It initially recognised the phone model, but won't always make a connection.

I also have MPM version 3.04.31.32.2 which came with the cable. Again the online shop claims it works with the CL75, but it I can't get it to connect or recognise the phone.

about your request, I would to inform you:
-the last MPM software don't working properly to the CL75 phones using USB connection. I recomand you to use only MPM 4.05.50.21.1.0 or MPM 3.05.28.51.3. If you don't haved, the last solution is to buy Infrared USB device for your PC, and use the IRDA connection.
-about the cable, this is compatible with the original DCA540 cable (native USB). Manny Siemens mobile phones (included your phone) use this connection to the PC data transfer .

Hi,
because the Benq-Siemens site is dead (one year ago), you need to download Siemens phones software from the other sites. So:
-MPM 4.05.50.21.1.0 download from http://goood.ru/catalog/119/ (66MB; only in the rusian language).
-MPM 3.05.28.51.3 download from http://rapidshare.com/files/59900494...Sync_en-UK.zip (53 MB; english language)
