free S40 Tool v 1.0.1
 

Is this software working? Has anybody tested it?
When i try to download the flash from phone it's working for a while then it shows "bad crc - use correct cable". The cable is fine, i made phone log with it.
Please help.

PS. Is there any free working stuff to unlock Siemens S40?

You need diferent cable.

and I can flash, read.. all OK.

I know it says anything above Ver 5.0 will destroy your phone!

Didnt think that included READING THE FLASH!!

I thought if you could not check the software version through the IMEI command *#06# that your software was 3.2 or less.

So glad to see a few of you have it working. Because it deemed one ours USELESS so far!:mad:

Can anyone share ANY other S40 software so that we may test it. Seems like the USA/CANADA released versions dont operate the same.

Anyone know who wrote that prog to possible see about adding more support or doing checking.

This tool is maded by Mary Jane. Yes it works up to version 5.0.0, but for new phones you need new tool, which isn't free. You can purchase it from Bontek, or you can purchase All Siemens soft from Maxim, or Pro.
