SCI - back to old writing method?

The SCI patches till version 3 and the full working version 4.2 of that patch (Thx Riza ) use the direct write to EEParea command. So there's no loose in counting even if the phone hangs or we took out battery without shutdown the phone. But ntc and others made a topic that the Flash of all mobiles only have limited writing cycles
So if someone somehow sends* 10.000 SMS per month (hard to believe because in germany that would cost 2000 USD ) He got a minimum write in EEP of 10.000 and of course if he receives SMS the number of writing processes in EEP get also higher.

So my simple question. Can we switch back to old writing method? As used in SCI ver 1 + 2?

Thanks
yours cyperghost

*edit:
I wrote received. Of course I ment send SMS, receiving don't cost anything

Yes, you/we can ...

Refer to the latest SCI v4.2, apply this :

;If you don't want to save the data directly to the EEPROM, unmark this:

cyperghost:
about 10000sms-in poland we have something like "loyalty program" where when we receive 2000sms(from other network operator) per month our operator gave as 50free minutes or 200free sms 1minute in exchange of 10received minutes or 40received sms. (so RATIO 1:4)
me and my 4friends use this option very often (5x2000...)
of course its economic if we must pay BUT we use some other way to generate free sms
BTW in Poland sms cost 0,03E to our operator and 0,04E~0,05E to any other
regards and thank for this topic
