i can't unlock A50 - GSM-Forum

i've siemens a50 v8 lg5 with the original siemens cable in port COM 1, but i downloaded very programs and read a lot of posts of this forum but i can't unlocked, i can't enable java, i can't put an image as logo argg
Vissie detect my A50 but isn't compattible with it; many programs to unlock it don't dettect the A50 in the COM 1 (it says that it powered off and is ON!!), for example FREIA say that (all same):

MISC_calibrate_delay : 160.15 BogoMIPS
COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 7
TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening COM1
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is not powered on

FREIA's Configuration:
COM1,Speed 115200,New Phones(x5x),DTR,Medium

an the phone is powered ON.....

what can i do?

Phone must be powered off at the beginning,
when FREIA says:
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
Press the on-key shortly

i try this but not works. i start with the phone powered off and when freia say me that i press de on-key (the red button that i use for power on the phone) shortly, another time i press the button until the phone powered on, but in both cases freias says me the same...

I think your problem is

Search this forum for cable modification in order to use for unlocking phone.

i had the same problem.
klik first on unlock, than put cabel.

1st use non original data cable.
2nd donload free Siemens Service Toolbox from www.sst-gsm.cjb.net
3rd press unlock button and all will be ok

ok, i've the program and i need only find the cable's modificatons to try another time......i hope that would be fine this time (if you see, or know, the url of the picture for modifications please post here)
